Situational Analysis | August 11, 2025
It's Monday and Mountain Day ⛰️
What you need to know
- Economic uncertainty is causing anxiety among Utahns. Only a quarter of Utahns say their finances are improving and nearly half say the U.S. economy is headed the wrong way, according to new polling from the Deseret News and Hinckley Institute of Politics. Just over half, 51%, believe the state is on the right track economically. There are, unsurprisingly, some fairly deep partisan divides.
